Saumur Champigny Sauvion

This wine is produced in the Saumur region and is made from Cabernet Franc. Here, in the Eastern Loire, the Cabernet Franc is at its best as the soil and climate are the most perfect for this variety. The vineyard area is quite small, and traditional winemaking techniques are used to maintain the quality that has existed for centuries. It can take a light chill, especially in warmer weather.
